NOTICE OF
ELECTION OF A MEMBER OF THE DEWAN
RAKYAT/LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF

The Election Commission having issued a Writ for the election of
a member of the Dewan Rakyat/Legaslative Assembly of the State of
.......................................... for the Constituency
of .................. the returning officer of the said Constituency
will on the ........................... 20........ between the hours
of nine o'clock and eleven o'clock in the forenoon at ................................
hours of nine o'clock and proceed to the nomination of candidates.
2. Each candidate must be nominated on a separate nomination paper
(to be completed in triplicate) in the prescribed form. Nomination
paper and form for the statutory declaration required from candidates
may be obtained free of charge on application during office hours
at the office of the returning officer.
3. Each copy of the nomination paper must be signed by a proposer
and a seconder and by four other electors qualified to vote in Constituency
of .......................................................................
and written consent of the candidate must be endorsed thereon.
4. Nomination paper must he delivered to the returning officer together
with the statutory declaration and deposit gof five thousand/three
thousand ringgit in legal tender or a deposit receipt for the like
amount between the said hours of nine o'clock and eleven o'clock
in the forenoon on the .................................... 20......

5. If only one candidate remains validly nominated for the Constituency,
that candidate shall forthwith be declared elected for the said
Constituency. If, however, more than one candidate remains validly
